Once you've completed your Foundation Year, you'll then join the honours degree and spend the first year covering all aspects of business management to find out where your passions and talents lie.
Join one of the best business management degrees in the UK — we've been ranked in the Top 20 for two years running (Guardian University Guide 2021).
We're looking for students who want to 'do business, as well as learn about business — is that you? From the get-go, you'll be thinking about how to apply what you're learning, through topical case studies, business simulations, real consultancy projects and work placements.
From year two, you can continue on a general Business Management pathway or choose one of the following:
Business Management (Business Technology)
Business Management (Enterprise)
Business Management (Finance)
Business Management (Human Resource Management)
Business Management (Marketing)
Business Management (Supply Chain and Logistics)
About the pathways
Once you've completed your Foundation Year, you'll then join the honours degree and all students take the same core modules in the first year of the degree to gain an important foundation in all aspects of business management, including finance and business performance, economics, understanding people, enterprise skills, marketing and developing a professional mindset.
After that, you can opt to transfer to one of our specialist pathways or continue on the core Business Management route. Whichever pathway you choose, you won't be closing any doors; you will still gain a solid grounding in all of the key business disciplines, such as strategy, finance, people management and development, marketing, operations, enterprise, supply chain and logistics.
