Course Overview

University of Colorado Denver’s STEM Education MA with a concentration in science education prepares licensed practicing teachers to think critically about their contexts, their learners, and the nature of science education from a research-oriented perspective. Graduates are positioned to be leaders in their communities, and in diverse schools.

In this program students will:

  • Apply the latest theories in experiential science.
  • Gain skills in strategic teaching.

At the same time, this Personalized Professional Master’s Degree allows you to customize your curriculum by selecting up to half of the credits of your program from courses outside your main area of focus according to your own needs and interests.
