This program is offered to OSH practitioners, individuals seeking for career advancement in their career. In UNIMAS, we understand that becoming a safety and health professional requires multidisciplinary training.
Therefore, our program embedded a broad-based educational background combined with specialized knowledge in physical sciences (medicine, physics, chemistry and engineering) and social sciences (behaviour, motivation and communication) together with the principles and concepts of management. There are two modes offered which are full-time or part-time. This programme is most suited to those who wish to further their education either in campus or the comfort of their home as we offered both conventional and open and distance learning.
Entry Requirement
For admission into the programme, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Safety & Health/Engineering with minimum CGPA of 2.50; or
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Safety & Health/Engineering with CGPA of less than 2.50 and a minimum of 5 years working experience in OSH related field; or
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in other fields with minimum CGPA of 2.75, or
Other equivalent qualifications approved by the Senate
International Applicant
For international students, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or its equivalent (e.g.TOEFL-525, TOEFL Computer Test 196, TOEFL Internet Test 69-70 or MUET Band 4)
is required.
