The International Year is a 1, 2, 3 or 4-semester program, equivalent to a year's study of a bachelor's degree. This program has been specially designed to prepare international students for an undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. You will learn in a supportive environment, helping you to adjust to your new surroundings.
Curriculum
Your International Year program will be a combination of English for Academic Purposes courses to develop your English language skills, and route specific courses. Each of these courses has been specially designed to help you develop the skills required to help you succeed in your University degree. During your pathway program, you may be able to earn up to 24 credits towards your degree.
Entry Requirement
Applicants for the International Year need to provide proof of successful completion of a US secondary education or equivalent, with a minimum 2.0 GPA (Grade Point Average).
English Language Requirements
To apply for the International Year, you need a minimum TOEFL, IELTS or Password Test score – you can take the Password test free of charge at worldwide locations.
