The basis and framework of this course are on and about a universal Early Childhood Education where students will be equipped to embark on a career as an early childhood educator in the international context.
Objectives
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
Gain knowledge of how children learn and develop
Establish effective pedagogical and practice skills in early childhood education.
Develop basic oral and written English Language skills for practice in the early childhood setting.
Understand the issues and challenges of the early childhood professional.
Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of formal education and passed in equivalence of GCE “O” Level credits in 3 different subjects including a credit of at least C6 in English Language or its equivalence.
Candidates who do not have the required English proficiency document may take the NIM English Placement Test and/or do an interview.
