Course Overview

Whether corporate finance, corporate structuring, or consulting - the Finance Bachelor brings you closer to a wide range of subject areas and thus combines the classic management principles of the business administration degree with the international requirements of the financial sector.

If you study financial management, your studies are geared towards current developments in the financial market with compulsory internships with an international focus at home or abroad, consulting projects, workshops, and experienced lecturers from the business world.

Carrying out the analysis of complex business models and processes, getting to know financial products better, or recognizing the interrelationships of markets - the finance course gives you the knowledge you need to become a sought-after specialist in national and international companies.

Why study financial management? Prove your entrepreneurship & your flair for numbers. The course promises you characteristic lectures from the areas of management basics (business administration, economics), soft skills (personal and social competencies), foreign languages ​​and industry-specific focuses, a business management basis with an individual focus. Lectures in the areas of financial management, corporate structuring, or international financial reporting are offered.

Before starting your studies, you can choose between:

  • The International Trail with a second foreign language (Spanish or French) OR
  • The Global Economy Trail with international economic topics and you can prepare yourself even more intensively for your future career steps.

Alternatively, you can complete the course entirely in English and in combination with the International Trail.

Entry Requirement 

In order to begin studying at the International School of Management, you must first register online for the online admission procedure. You will then receive an invitation letter from us, including an application form and a checklist of the documents still to be submitted.

Evidence is required for admission to the course:

  • A successfully completed high school diploma or
  • A successfully completed specialist baccalaureate (school and practical part) or
  • A professional qualification (e.g. master craftsman's certificate),
  • Language skills (at least level B2) of the respective language of instruction (German or English),
  • The submission of the application documents
  • Participation in a multi-level entrance test (written and oral) required.

Applicants who need a visa for Germany and do not yet have a (student) visa must apply by the following date of the respective year:

  • Summer semester: until December 15th
  • Winter semester: until October 16

Fees

Tuition fees per semester:

  • € 5180 in Dortmund Cologne Stuttgart and Berlin
  • € 5480 in Frankfurt / Main Munich and Hamburg

Enrollment fees:

  • EU students: € 600
  • Non-EU students: €1500.
