Course Overview

Strategic and operational aspects of marketing include the formulation of marketing strategies, managing the marketing function and its positioning relative to other key business functions, advertising and branding, customer relations management, applications of information technology, and e-marketing.

The external marketing environment encompasses consumer behaviour and consumer psychology, marketing communication, public relations and market research. This Marketing course programme also provides coverage across the broader range of business and management subjects, developing knowledge and understanding of organisations, their management and the changing external environment in which they operate.

French will give you advanced skills in the French language, and a broad range of specialised and detailed insights into the culture, society and history that go with it. The French course has language at the heart of it, with core modules developing the key oral, aural, and written skills every year.

Academic Requirements:

Below are the entry requirements for the Business aspect of the course. You should also look at the entry requirements for your other chosen subject.

GCSE: Maths grade C/4 required. A typical offer is based on a minimum of 112 tariff points from a Level 3 qualification* e.g.:

  • A Levels
  • BTEC National/Extended Diploma and Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma: DMM
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma
  • Access: Pass
  • City & Guilds Advanced Technical/Extended Diploma: considered on a case by asis
  • Welsh Baccalaureate is accepted.

International Candidates: school-leaving qualifications and college diplomas are accepted from countries worldwide (subject to minimum English Language requirements).

IELTS (SELT or Non-SELT) or IELTS Indicator(tests taken from 1st July onwards)

Fees

The cost of a full-time undergraduate course is £9000 per year.

The fee for all placement international and sandwich years is £1350
