Entry Requirement
Course Equivalency Requirements
For the equivalency of courses taken by the student in a Ph.D. program in any other educational institution, the following conditions are required:
The student must be transferred from a university recognized by the Ministry of Education - Higher Education Affairs in the United Arab Emirates.
The student’s grade in the course requested to be equivalent should not be less than 80% or (b).
The course should not have passed more than two academic years.
The course should not be included within the requirements of a previous academic degree obtained by the student.
The grade of the equivalent course should not be included in the computation of the GPA for a doctoral degree from Ajman University.
The number of courses that are equivalent should not exceed 25% of the total courses in the Ph.D. program at Ajman University.
The inability to accept duplicate credit hours for one course completed in two different universities.
Submit a course equivalency request to the University's Admission and Registration Department as part of the program's enrollment application.
